We are looking for a Visual Designer to concept, design, develop and measure creative that support our retail categories and meet our business and strategic objectives for our shopping experience and marketing channels. As visual designers, you partner closely with both Art Director(s), UX designers, and marketing teams to improve our customer experience. ).Contribute to each phase of the design process: research, brainstorm, concept sketches, mood boards and rationale write-ups, storyboards, design layout & photo art direction.Own design responsibilities on projects, manage day-to-day workflows while maintaining larger project timelines and deliverables, with a high level of self-sufficiency.Work with business intelligence and UX teams to drive creative performance measurement and establish KPI’s.Advocate and evangelize accessibility standards that help drive compliance across onsite graphics and widgets.Present design work to VX, UX, Product, and Vendor teams, stakeholders and executive leadership.Basic Qualifications4+ years of design experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, marketing environment.An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating online retail and/or marketing campaigns and user-centered design solutions.Excellent communication; able to talk through your work and positively receive art direction and creative feedback.4+ years of experience with design tools/applications including Photoshop, Illustrator.Illustration experience in a tech, agency, or editorial role.Experience uploading in content management systems.Preferred QualificationsExperience illustrating for animation.Demonstrated knowledge and ability to design for accessibility standards.Good understanding of UX and onsite applications to complement your VX skill.Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently.A strong track record of iterative design, working closely with design and stakeholders from inception through implementation.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
