Visual Information Specialist / Graphic Designer (Clearance Required)

Job Title: Visual Information Specialist / Graphic Designer

Client/Contract: Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)
Security Clearance: Interim or active DoD Secret clearance required.
Location: Pentagon – Arlington, VA (metro accessible only / No Parking on site)
Salary: $60,000-65,000 a year based on experience.
Position type: Full Time/Exempt
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st shift (potential for early working hours)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, design, and layout a variety of media for organizations, such as charts, presentation slides, logos, illustrations, exhibits, etc.Plan and execute the visual aesthetics of printed media.Select format, size, appearance, cover design, and color scheme for technical manuals, publications and posters.Work closely with expert graphic designers, analysts, web developers, and exhibit designers to strategize methods and techniques that ensure a well-developed product.Other primary duties include:

Interim Secret or active DoD Secret Clearance required.Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant military experienceProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Fireworks, Dreamweaver)Possess solid understanding of and experience with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Must be a U.S. Citizen*Kenney Business Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer
