Volunteer Graphic Design Specialist

Join the Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI), an international, volunteer-led think tank dedicated to leveraging blockchain technology to combat climate change. In this unpaid role, you will assist in bringing the BCI Communications Strategy to life visually. We seek candidates with a keen eye for design and a passion for creating impactful content. As a Graphic Design Specialist, you will collaborate on various BCI projects, engaging with fellow Communication Officers to enhance both internal and external outreach. This position falls within the Communications Branch under the External Affairs Bureau and involves the following responsibilities: • Supporting the execution of the BCI Communications Strategy; • Increasing the visibility and awareness of BCI among target audiences, both within and beyond the climate change policy sphere; • Conceptualizing compelling visuals that tell a story for diverse communication activities including public relations, social media, website, newsletters, and audio-visual projects; • Creating engaging and cohesive graphics tailored to a variety of media platforms; • Assisting in the organization of BCI events, including significant industry gatherings like COP27.
