Warehouse Driver, Part-Time, Day Shift

POSITION PURPOSE The Warehouse Driver delivers product by driving motor vehicles up to 26,000 pounds in gross weight on public roads. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Moves, loads and unloads materials around the plant and in/out of vehicles using a forklift Pulls product and assembles them for shipment, packing product in boxes and using banding and shrink-wrap machines Uses computers and other electronic devices Works closely with other personnel and management to ensure shipping deadlines are met Drives motor vehicles up to 26,000 pounds in gross weight, including a manual transmission, 26-ft. straight truck, on public roads to deliver and/or pick up material(s) Follows all safety guidelines, minimizes down time of forklifts and machines, and keeps all forklifts and machines in safe working conditions Performs required daily basic maintenance and safety checks on all vehicles driven OTHER DUTIES: Day shift, with some variation of hours needed to support production deadlines and unanticipated events. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years’ experience driving forklifts, vans, and trucks Forklift Certification required (OSHA-Certified preferred) Current state-issued driver's license and insurability by our insurance company is required for driving our vehicles on public roads, including DOT medical screening Any relevant post high school training is a plus Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and DOT medical screen Basic proficiency in English Compensation: Non-exempt (hourly) wage of $14.00/hour Benefits: Sick Time To be considered for this position, please visit the following web address to complete an application: https://signature-graphics.applicantharbor.com All resumes and applications will be held in the strictest of confidence.
