YinzCam is looking for a Web Designer to join our team in Pittsburgh. In this role, you will design and build engaging, responsive web experiences for professional sports teams, leagues, and venues.
We’re looking for someone with 1-3 years of professional experience who combines a strong eye for visual and UX design with front-end skills. You should be comfortable taking a project from an initial design concept through implementation using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on creating polished, responsive experiences that look great across desktop, tablet, and mobile.

**What You’ll Do**
* Design engaging, sports-centric websites and responsive web experiences for professional sports teams and organizations.
* Create responsive page layouts and user experiences that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
* Translate design concepts, mockups, and prototypes into functional web experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Incorporate team branding, photography, typography, color, and other visual elements into compelling digital experiences.
* Design around the unique needs of sports fans, including schedules, scores, news, video, ticketing, promotions, gameday content, and other fan-facing experiences.
* Collaborate closely with designers, developers, project managers, and other internal stakeholders to take projects from concept through launch.
* Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions.
* Ensure designs are technically feasible, responsive, accessible, and consistent across modern browsers and devices.
* Test and refine your work across different screen sizes and browsers, identifying and correcting visual or functional issues.
* Iterate quickly based on feedback from internal teams and clients.
* Maintain consistency with established design systems and brand guidelines while finding creative ways to make each team's digital experience unique.
* Stay current on web design trends, responsive design practices, front-end technologies, and emerging digital experiences.
**What We’re Looking For**
* 3-5 years of professional experience in web design, digital design, front-end development, or a similar role.
* A portfolio demonstrating strong web and responsive design work.
* Strong proficiency with HTML and CSS.
* Working knowledge of JavaScript and the ability to implement interactive web experiences.
* Experience designing responsive experiences using a mobile-first approach.
* Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, color, spacing, and other fundamental design principles.
* Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
* Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive web development.
* Ability to move comfortably between designing an experience and implementing it in code.
* Strong attention to detail and a desire to deliver highly polished work.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to receiving and incorporating feedback.
* A genuine interest in sports, technology, and digital fan experiences.
**Nice to Have**
* Experience designing websites, apps, or digital experiences within sports, entertainment, media, or live events.
* Experience working with APIs, JSON, or dynamically generated web content.
* Familiarity with Git or other version-control tools.
* Understanding of web accessibility and WCAG best practices.
* Experience working within an established design system or component library.
* Experience with CSS preprocessors, frameworks, or modern front-end development tools.
