Web Developer Graphic Designer

Responsibilities The successful candidate would be expected to develop and create the look, layout, and features of the ALSDE website as defined by ALSDE and perform the following: Provide support and maintenance Services for existing ALSDE Development of new website features and functionality as defined by Remediate PDF documents, Word files, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and PDF/UA standards. Documented experience in the use of Microsoft development systems, i.e., JavaScript, HTML Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping Knowledge of Adobe products (e.g. Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, InDesign) Microsoft Word (styles, headings, alt text, reading order) PDF (tagging, logical structure, forms, links) Documented experience in basic and advanced web design Documented experience in graphic and multimedia Documented experience in multimedia programming and technology Knowledge of content management Exceptional verbal and written communication Collaborate with diverse teams with various teams to ensure compliance Problem-solving Ability to work on and respond to multiple projects at one Ability to apply relevant software & hardware Ability to continuously learn and keep abreast of technological Ability to manage project Ability to coordinate the work of Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter Proficiency with MS Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
