Web & Graphic Designer

Dodd Creative Group is seeking a Web & Graphic Designer to join our branding team. This role will have a strong focus on website and digital design, while also supporting print, branding, and other creative projects across a variety of media.

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio demonstrating strong web and digital design skills, a solid understanding of typography and layout, and the ability to create polished, visually engaging compositions. Candidates should also be comfortable carrying a brand across both digital and print applications.

We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, energetic, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment. Designers should be curious about emerging creative technologies and comfortable incorporating AI tools into their workflow when appropriate.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Dallas, TX. This is not a remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIESCreate custom website designs as well as utilize established Figma templates provided by our website development partners.Collaborate with creative directors, developers, and other team members to take projects from concept through delivery.Create digital media including PowerPoint presentations, email graphics, social media assets, and other digital marketing materials.Use AI-powered creative tools as part of the design process when appropriate, including concept exploration, image generation and editing, image extension and enhancement, content development, research, and ideation.Create print collateral including brochures, flyers, pocket folders, signage graphics, and other marketing materials, from initial layout through revisions and mechanical production.Develop brand guidelines, final logo packages, and brand usage standards for client work.Draw, edit, and prepare floor plans and site maps.Proof your own work and review the work of other team members for accuracy, consistency, and quality.Coordinate with web developers, print vendors, shipping services, and other outside partners as needed.QC, repackage, and prepare incoming print materials for client delivery or shipping, including occasional lifting and handling of boxes.Maintain well-organized, properly built, accurate, and error-free working and production files.Manage individual workload through Smartsheets, staying on top of multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.Communicate regularly with managers and team members regarding project status, priorities, questions, and potential issues, including participation in daily status meetings.Stay current on web and graphic design trends, emerging technologies, AI tools, software capabilities, and industry best practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS1–2 years of professional experience in web, digital, and graphic design.Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interactive Design, or a related field.Online portfolio demonstrating strong website and digital design work, as well as a solid understanding of typography, composition, branding, and visual hierarchy.Highly proficient in Figma, with a working knowledge of web design principles, including responsive design, user experience, accessibility, and designing for desktop and mobile environments.Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, on a Mac platform.Experience using generative AI and AI-assisted creative tools.Strong understanding of major file formats, image resolution, digital asset preparation, and print production requirements.Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong quality-control skills.Excellent problem-solving skills and creative thinking.Ability to follow creative direction, accept constructive feedback, and adapt work as project requirements evolve.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSProficiency in Webflow and/or WordPress.Experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, video editing, animation, or motion graphics.Experience designing environmental graphics, signage, and wayfinding systems.Familiarity with architectural drawings, blueprints, floor plans, and related terminology.

Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000
