Job Summary The primary responsibility of the Comm Student Graphic Designer is to assist with creating and designing print and web graphics. The position will be responsible for updating and adapting existing graphics as well as producing graphics from concept through production. Responsibilities • Designing clear and engaging graphics for print including fliers posters brochures banners • Adapting print designs for web applications including social media graphics web banners and digital graphics for the Shepherd Union TVs • Following WSU branding standards • Completing designs by assigned due dates • Training on WSU systems and Adobe programs Qualifications • Must have a minimum of one year of graphic design experience • Proficient in Adobe InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop • Knowledgeable in four-color and spot print processes as well as file packaging • Knowledgeable in English/grammar • Full-time or part-time student Preferred Qualifications • Self-motivated • Very organized and detail oriented • Drive to learn about the industry Work Details • Position Title: Comm Student Graphic Designer • Requisition Number: H01917P • Campus Location: Weber State University – Ogden UT • Hours per week / Months per year: See posting • Pay Grade: Salary / Hourly Pay Rate: $14
