Good coding knowledge is preferred but the more complex back end changes and updates to the site are handled by a development team in India, so the job entails managing them remotely and using their set number of monthly hours as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. In addition there is an offsite data entry person who the webmaster is responsible for assigning and overseeing the more simple data entry tasks relating to content updates (pricing updates for example).
