Website & Communication Assistant The Stitchin’ Den located in Estes Park, CO has been in business for 20 years. We are looking for a dynamic person who loves fiber arts to join our website & communications team in a part time position. We need a person who is skilled with website design, familiar with email marketing strategies, understand social media strategies and has an eye for graphic design. This position can be performed remotely, but occasional access to the shop would be necessary. General Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of the company’s marketing and sales strategies Brainstorm campaign ideas Collaborate with other team members to ensure brand consistency Manage a content calendar that is engaging Write copy and develop campaign landing pages for use in lead- generation & sales campaigns Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topic in order to develop original content Have an eye for graphic design with experience in Publisher, Canva or other design software to create engaging graphics to generate new leads and sales opportunities Be available for staff questions and recommendations Website Maintenance: Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics Learn and become proficient on internal software systems; Shopify platform experience is preferred but not required Add products and collections to the website Update front page of website with appealing design & cohesiveness to current marketing campaign Maintain online store by adding new apps & widgets when required, update website & navigation and keep back end of website running smoothly Create custom checkouts, set up discount codes and test for accuracy Maintain customer database and rewards program while linking to email system Email Marketing: Design and copyright email marketing campaigns to generate interest, drive sales, and increase awareness and retention Work closely with store management to produce email campaigns that target specific customers or content calendar plans to improve customer experience Create automated email sequences Create audience segments for purpose of targeting specific audiences Social Media Duties Include: Manages and monitors various social media accounts and post content to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and You Tube to align with business objectives Assist in creating and analyzing performance reports and analytics to gauge the success of campaigns Understand the overall concepts of the company including the brand, customer experience, product goals and all other aspects of service Engage with customers or followers by responding to queries in a timely manner and monitors customer reviews Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily with original text, videos, photos and news Skills Required: Social media marketing Online engagement Ability in producing high quality written and visual communication Organization Professionalism Customer service focus Excellent copywriting skills Problem solving MS Office Google Docs Detail oriented Able to work independently while being a team player Benefits: Gain valuable work experience while working in a fast paced, supportive work culture Exploration of a career path and give yourself an edge in the job market Develop and refine skills while working with seasoned team of talented fiber enthusiast Gain confidence for a possible transition into a career Work in a field that is creative, fun and rewarding Employee discount on craft supplies Continued education both in career development and crafting email resume to paula@thestitchinden.com
