The Web Developer is responsible for the coding, design, and layout of a website according to a client’s specifications and business objectives. As the role takes into consideration user experience and function, a certain level of both graphic design and computer programming is necessary. Once a website has been created, the Web Developer will generally assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the website. Responsibilities: -Build websites from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function -Add new content as needed/assigned -Create clients and associated The Go Agency Inc.’s website’s through standard WordPress practices -Maintaining, expanding, enhancing, and scaling sites -Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to daily operations and activities -Constantly communicate with other departments to develop and deploy their content – while ensuring there is a clear understanding of what can be created within what timeframe -Implement a scheduled website backup program in the event that a website goes down -Ensure all websites and site content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels -Map out a strategy to increase website users and traffic both short- and long-term, determining which methods work for the brand -Conduct ongoing usability tests to gauge website usability and usefulness; Gather data, review analytics, and provide recommendations based on those results -Develop standards, systems, and best practices (both human and technological) for website development and maintenance Qualifications: -A willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies accordingly -Project management skills to manage development deadlines -Leadership skills required to define and manage a set of goals involving diverse contributors and project types -Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills -Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen -Able to think like an educator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it -A passion for new technology tools and usage of those tools within your own websites -Clear articulation of the business goal behind the creation of a website Benefits & Perks: -100% employer contribution of coverage for Employee Medical Plans -Optional Vision Benefit Plans -10 PTO days per year -8 paid holidays per year -Pay increase after 90 days (based on work performance) -Additional perks include free admission to 50+ concerts state-wide, an inclusive "family" type culture, and opportunities to make additional money working at Company-sponsored events at a rate of $200 per day.
