Weekend Graphic Designer / Print Shop Associate

Pay: $19-$22 per hour
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week

We are a custom print and graphics shop looking for a skilled Graphic Designer / Print Shop Associate to join us on weekends.

This is not just a retail or counter position. Strong computer design skills are required.

You will work directly with customers to turn their ideas, photos, logos, and concepts into finished designs for custom apparel, signs, banners, stickers, and other printed products.

We're looking for someone who is creative, fast on a computer, comfortable designing while working directly with customers, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

Create and edit custom graphics based on customer requests
Turn customer ideas and rough concepts into finished designs
Prepare artwork for printing and production
Resize, clean up, modify, and format customer-supplied artwork
Work with PNG, JPG, PDF, vector, and other common graphic formats
Create artwork for T-shirts, apparel, banners, signs, stickers, and other products
Assist customers with design ideas and product selections
Take customer orders and process payments
Operate heat presses and other basic print-production equipment
Keep customer orders organized and accurate
Help maintain a clean and organized workspace
Learn our production process and eventually handle the shop independently when needed

Design Skills

Graphic design experience is required.

Applicants should be comfortable using one or more of the following:

CorelDRAW
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Canva

CorelDRAW experience is a big plus.

Experience using AI-powered design and image-generation tools is also a big plus. We are especially interested in designers who know how to use AI as part of a professional design workflow—not simply generate an image.

Useful AI skills include:

Creating original artwork from customer concepts
Writing effective prompts and refining generated artwork
Editing and modifying AI-generated images
Removing or replacing backgrounds
Upscaling and improving low-quality customer artwork
Combining AI-generated elements with traditional graphic design
Preparing AI-generated artwork for professional printing

Experience with DTF printing, heat transfers, vinyl, signage, screen printing, apparel decoration, or other print-production methods is a plus, but we can train the right designer on our equipment and production process.

Pay & Schedule

$20.00 per hour

Friday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Saturday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

Approximately 24 hours per week.

Application Requirement

Please include a portfolio or examples of your graphic-design work when applying.

If you use AI design tools, we would also like to see examples of artwork you've created or significantly modified using AI.

Applicants with experience creating artwork for apparel, signs, banners, logos, stickers, or other printed products will receive priority consideration.

Experience

Required:

Graphic design experience
Strong computer skills

Preferred:

CorelDRAW
Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Canva
AI image-generation and AI-assisted design tools
Print production / print shop experience
DTF or apparel-design experience
Customer service experience
