WordPress Developer Part-time Create Wireframes Web Design mock ups (Wordpress, Shopify, and Woocommerce) Design and develop WordPress based websites Wordpress, Shopify, and Woocommerce) Ability to implement Discount and Pricing Structures Design and develop landing pages for various marketing efforts Design and/or optimize graphics and visuals for websites while ensuring they are in line with client branding as well as best SEO practices Respond to WordPress, Shopify, or Woocommerce support tickets and requests Work with Project Managers and clients to identify requirements and project goals Test and verify with team members websites meet the business requirements Participate in creative meetings, design reviews, demos, and end user training Integrate various third-party applications to websites based on business needs and project scope (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.) Edit and expand upon existing web presences Work collaboratively in a team setting, as well as independently Maintain an eye for detail Meet deadlines consistently Professional Skills & Qualifications • Experience designing, building, and managing WordPress websites and knowledge of WordPress best practices • Bachelor’s degree in related field (BFA in Graphic Design/Web Design is preferred) • Experience with reading and editing HTML/CSS • Ability to implement and troubleshoot JavaScript and PHP website features • Experience with WooCommerce preferred • Experience with Shopify preferred • Strong design skills and ability to follow the branding guidelines • Understanding of UI/UX principles • High levels of self-motivation • Ability to create new compelling and competent designs • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline- driven workplace • Good command of English Language, spelling and grammar important
