Using an understanding of digital communication practices and skills with respect to graphic design principles, web design, marketing, branding, photography, videography, problem solving, time management, and adaptability, this role is an integral member of the University Communications and Marketing team and helps support the University's goals and priorities. The multimedia designer creates compelling, innovative and results oriented materials and collaborates with other University Communications and Marketing teams.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree3- 5 years professional experience required in creative/graphic design;Digital portfolio required (portfolio website or PDF under 10MB).Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, content management systems.Creative thinker in developing innovative ideas and solutions to marketing communication challenges.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.Must be deadline oriented and able to manage multiple projects.Preferred Qualifications Higher education experience preferredEssential Functions and percent of time: Multimedia design (print, digital, graphics, web design, signage, video editing, etc.) (20%)Other duties as assigned (5%)Essential Functions and percent of time (cont'd):Non-Essential Functions and percent of time:Working Conditions To preserve the safety and security of the campus community and to maintain the integrity of university operations, it is the policy of Wright State University making an employment offer contingent on various background checks, such as a criminal record, credit history when job related and/or education verifications.
