Writer / Visual Communications Specialist with a Content Management

The ideal candidate would have experience coding HTML and distilling complex data and charts into easy-to-understand, compelling visuals. The ideal Specialist will have the following relevant experience: · Content management of a major private, government or institutional organization via a multimedia platform · Persuasive writing for broad audiences · Presentation materials · Graphic standards for reports · Knowledge of branding Responsibilities for the Writer / Visual Communications Specialist: · Content production to support the facilities and logistics organization of federal agency. · Work independently to enable the organization’s vision for its websites internal to the agency · Produce deliverables internal to the agency to leadership · Manage the organization’s website content (internal to the agency) · Elevate the organization’s standards, including communication plans · Ability to travel within the United States to the properties which the agency occupies (about 10% of the Specialist’s work time) to prepare multimedia content Qualifications for the Writer / Visual Communications Specialist: · Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with a minimum 3 years’ experience; or minimum 5 years’ relevant experience without a college degree · Experience with intra- agency communications, multimedia implementation and change management preferred · Time management working on multiple projects at the same time in various stages · Proven resourcefulness and an ability to solve problems creatively. · Proven proficiency in the base Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required as well as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). · Microsoft Project, Publisher, and HTML are a plus.
