Art Director - Fashion Brand

Fashion has gone through many phases to connect with the world - from print catalog sales to big department stores, from local boutique stores to offering online virtual dressing rooms. Our teams question "fashion norms" and strive to create unique and memorable experiences for our clientele. \\- You will work closely with in- house photographers, videographers, editors and stylists to plan the creative and merchandising specifics of each shoot, ensuring that all elements combine to result in consistent and exciting content. The ideal candidate is a self- starter, comfortable with an ever-changing environment and are able to think big while paying careful attention to detail and solving problems independently RESPONCIBILITIES: \\- Planning and executing photo and video productions shoots \\- Building and updating style guides and technical standards for in-studio fashion photography and editorial videos \\- Presenting conceptual directions to the creative team \\- Identifying potential creative talent who can raise the bar on creative output \\- Collaborating with our marketing team to identify areas for experimentation with new content formats \\- Identify new concepts and formats in which to generate relevant content MINIMUM QULIFICATIONS: \\- 5 years of art direction experience and/or design experience at a design/interactive/ brand agency, or in-house team \\- First-hand knowledge of photo and video production, including lighting, set design, image capture, and retouching and video editing processes \\- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and image capture software \\- An online portfolio demonstrating scope of functional capabilities and aesthetic choices \\- Experience leading the creation of branded imagery for a fashion brand, retailer, or publication \\- Provide Video/motion design and editing direction \\- Knowledge of the modern fashion industry and trends and applicable marketing formats WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER: \\- Full-time employment with competitive compensation package \\- Fully paid medical, dental and vision insurance \\- Paid parking in DTLA \\- Fun and happy creative studio environment \\- Opportunity to grow with a growing e-commerce start-up and be on the forefront of the production and creative process in the fashion industry!
