Dent Education is seeking to hire and train a diverse cohort of coaches to run our summer program, Bet on Baltimore. - Passionate about our mission, mindsets, and commitment to equity - Unwavering in your belief in each student’s potential - Resilient in the face of adversity with an ability to troubleshoot when problems arise - A self-starter who is optimistic, resourceful, and action-oriented - Organized, dependable, and a good communicator able to give and receive feedback - An exceptional educator, designer, coach, manager, maker, and/or relationship builder - Build relationships and trust with 12 students at your site - Teach students the tools and methods of design thinking, track-specific maker skills, and entrepreneurship (we’ll train you for this!) - To build deep relationships with students and join them on a journey of self-exploration and growth - To develop as an educator, design thinker, maker, innovator, and entrepreneur - To join and shape a mission-driven startup with a team of motivated educators - To meet and connect with some of Baltimore’s most talented and passionate change-makers (we have a great summer line-up of guest speakers and mentors) - A $3,250 stipend
