**Summary:** **The Communications Coordinator** supports The Guild in executing and monitoring content marketing strategies, including both direct and indirect marketing efforts. This role involves creating communications and marketing materials such as blog stories, social media posts, e-newsletters, print materials, photos, and videos. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** * Ensure efficient and effective execution of communications tasks for The Guild * Assist in drafting and editing content and design for a variety of different media to support communications and marketing efforts, including but not limited to e-newsletters, website copy, brochures, and press releases * Identify and resolve any issues with promotional content in a timely and professional manner * Assist in developing and implementing communications strategies * Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and challenges of communications campaigns and strategies, including but not limited to Google Analytics, fundraising targets, and social media trends/mentions of The Guild * Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices * Initiate and respond to stakeholder communications, including but not limited to photo releases, e-newsletter story inquiries, and donation acknowledgments * Coordinate bulk communications through Constant Contact, direct mail, and other mass communication media * Document and refer media inquiries to appropriate personnel * Coordinate volunteers, support staff, and vendors to support promotional events, including but not limited to conferences, open houses, award ceremonies, etc. * Maintain The Guild’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn * Inventory and ensure ample stock of promotional photos and videos while adhering to all regulations regarding confidentiality of individuals served * Secure and archive annual updates of guardian photo permissions and specific photo/video consents * Perform other related duties as assigned **Essential Job Functions:** * Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job including some weekends, holidays and inclement weather situations * Writing, editing and graphic design skills for multiple audiences, including social media posts, blogs, e-newsletters, and annual reports * Work on multiple tasks with high level of organization, attention to detail, and quick deadlines * Organize, inventory, and update communications’ stock, including photos, graphics, print materials, guardian consents, and electronic communications Maintain confidentiality of individuals while promoting Guild mission/programs * Consistently utilize software programs with integrity to promote The Guild’s brand, including Constant Contact, Drupal, Microsoft products, graphic design and video editing tools **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience * 2+ years marketing or communications experience * Professional level verbal and written communication in English * Self-motivated, flexible, accountable, and able to take ownership of projects * Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines * Proficient with Microsoft Office, graphic design, video editing and other software * Ability to use/learn email marketing software, such as Constant Contact * Knowledge of web content management systems, such as Drupal, is an asset * Reliable transportation to primary worksite in Concord, MA as well as conferences and events as assigned. * Must meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements ****Apply online on The Guild website - _https://www.guildhumanservices.org/about-guild/careers/job- listings/communications-coordinator _**
