Communications & Design Specialist I

As a Communications and Design Specialist, you will use your exceptional design and customer service skills to produce online and printed materials for NWMLS’s membership of real estate professionals and NWMLS staff. You will be responsible for tasks such as coordinating member requests for design services, designing product marketing materials, presentations, email templates, infographics and images for NWMLS websites, assisting with the creation and maintenance of web and social media content, formatting and programming NWMLS real estate forms, and assisting with printing. * Design, format and program real estate forms. * Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and design application programs, e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator and Photoshop _(College degree in graphic/web design, communications, marketing or closely related field is preferred)_ * Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube * Familiarity with infographic methodology and creation tools * Familiarity with video software and/or programs such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or Animaker * Familiarity with pre-press design, working in a print shop with the output of design materials * Detail oriented with exceptional communication and organizational skills * Excellent proof-reading skills with critical attention to detail * Able to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while maintaining a high quality of work and meeting tight timelines * Positive team player and works well with others on collaborative projects * Excellent customer service skills * Experience with Quick Books is a plus * Familiarity with HTML, Dreamweaver, and web content management systems is a plus * Experience with email campaigns and broadcast programs (such as Mailchimp) is a plus
