We're looking for a brilliant, innovative, savvy Graphic Designer. You must be a creative thinker, truly respect your craft and have a great aesthetic sensibility. The primary role for the designer is to explore and support the design team on a wide range of projects including, packaging, interactive, environmental design, print materials and more, across myriad product verticals (e.g., food and beverage, apparel and accessories, candy and confections, cosmetics and beauty). Designers should see this as an opportunity to learn and grow through collaboration and exposure to others on their teams. * Research inspiration and keep abreast of relevant trends and the competitive landscape * Maintain a strong sense of the Uncommon Goods design aesthetic through all design work collaborative and fun *Work directly with the Chief Designer on creating new products *Coordinate the packaging of new products * Well organized, detail oriented, precise * Excellent verbal & written communication skills * Willingness to learn and help out wherever needed
