As a Prepress Production Operator, you'll ensure that all images and files are complete and ready for printing, including entering, positioning and altering text. Your primary job is to preflight files, handle the imposition and send the data to systems to create metal printing plates. You need knowledge of computers, computer to plate equipment (CTP) and customer service skills. Time management, active listening, problem solving and critical thinking skills are also necessary. Knowledge of publishing software is required (Adobe Suite).
