Social Media Intern (Fall 22/Spring 23)

Maxxima is looking for a creative individual to join our team onsite 3 days a week as a social media intern. **During this internship you will:** -Create strategies that best support company social media objectives and visually show our customers why Maxxima products should be part of their lives -Use your out-of-the-box thinking to create content and videos that increase customer engagement across all company social media platforms -Share your ideas in weekly meetings with our SVP and eCommerce marketing team -Create layouts and curate social media content calendars using internal tools like Hootsuite and SEMRush -Use different approaches to help bring out more of our company brand personality -Put your writing skills to the test as a contributor to our consumer LED resource center -Gain hands on experiences thorough understanding how a business operates while learning key skill sets you will need in life after college **Qualifications:** -Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a course of study in communications, social media, digital, marketing, graphic design, or similar degree program -Have a strong presence on Social Media with a command of each platform and their best practices -Ability to effectively work independently or within a collaborative team -Exceptional written and verbal communication skills -Creative problem solver and solutions driven -Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite as well as MS Word and Excel (office is PC based) -Experience with SEM, SEO, link acquisition, or social media preferred -Experience with PhotoShop preferred -Bonus experience and skills include working knowledge of Hootsuite and/or SEMRush We’ll work together to create a flexible onsite work schedule.
