Superstar Video Editor Needed!

We are a trendsetting & innovative Digital Media Production Company seeking a passionate Video Editing SUPERSTAR! You have great intuition, and you are a VISIONARY. DESCRIPTION: WRECK’D Productions is searching for a SUPERSTAR Video Editor who is able to edit in a fast-paced environment. The Video Editor will work closely with the in-house production team to turn around a finished product for our clients and the WRECK’D Productions owners. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: \\- Professional film/video editing work experience of at least 2 years \\- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, OR similar years of video editing or relatable experience \\- Willing to work with specific direction and collaboration, as well as work independently \\- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud) \\- AND/OR Mac and Final Cut Pro and Motion proficient \\- Technical literacy with video and audio file formats \\- Strong attention to details and time management skills \\- Strong communication skills \\- Able to manage multiple projects at once PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: \\- Creative problem solving and knowledge of b-roll database are strongly desired \\- GFX and Color Correction abilities is a plus \\- 3D animation software other than AE is a plus \\- Manage a project with little direction \\- Expert proficiency in editing software \\- Knowledge of modern digital imaging technology, techniques, methods, and formats \\- Excellent verbal and written communication skills \\- Receptive to constructive feedback while working with clients or managers \\- Positive attitude \\- Service-Oriented individual \\- Graphic design abilities a plus \\- Willing to pitch in and help the team with whatever is necessary \\- Able to work with tight deadlines \\- Able to operate cameras, audio equipment, and studio lighting is a plus The Video Editor job responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to: \\- Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to a computer \\- Follow a script, screenplay or outline \\- Input sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs \\- Input graphics, music, and effects to enhance footage \\- Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file \\- Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage \\- Working closely with owners and/or clients to present a final product that matches his or her vision \\- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the viewer \\- Reviewing shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution continuity \\- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film \\- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running \\- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency \\- Create highlight reels for studio promotion on social media \\- Assist with creation, metatags, and upload of new promotional reels \\- Manage, label, keyword and update the video archives \\- Maintain an organized and clean editing suite \\- All other tasks as deemed necessary by Company owners ***All applicants must send a link showing 3 to 5 samples of their work relevant to the position.
